We are excited to feature Abu Patrick for our December #EIGSpotlight!
Abu Patrick is an Account Manager II at Eastern Benefits Group. Abu works with both large and small benefits clients – and no job is too big or too small. Whether he’s at the office, visiting clients or out in his community, you can always find Abu lending a helping hand. When he is not working on his direct book of clients – he’s often helping a team member with their own. He’s all about teamwork and getting the job done!
Inside and outside the office, Abu embodies the #JoinUsForGood spirit. He is a self-proclaimed family man and spends lots of time with his wife and three children. He extends that dedication to other children in his community as well. Abu coaches and mentors young athletes in towns throughout the North Shore such as Lynn and Peabody. He is on the Board of Directors for the Wyoma Little League and is a coach and mentor for their teams. He also coaches two teams in the North Shore Flag Football League and two basketball teams in the Torrigian YMCA Peabody League.
Helping children and families is very important to Abu. He was formerly on the Board of Directors for Housing Families, a nonprofit organization that works to end family homelessness by providing safe, temporary shelter and quality affordable housing to homeless and at-risk families. Abu and his wife continue to support and volunteer with the organization, especially during the holidays.
Abu is currently in the process of creating a nonprofit organization called Scholars Over Ballers. The mission of this nonprofit will be to promote education as a priority to children who are actively involved in sports.
On behalf of the entire team at Eastern team, we would like to thank Abu for all that he has done for our organization and our community.
