We are excited to introduce you to this month’s #EIGSpotlight, Ann-Marie Rollo! Whether she’s at the office, meeting with clients, or behind her camera, you’ll always find Ann-Marie putting a smile on someone’s face.

Ann-Marie is the Vice President and Private Client Group Manager at Eastern Insurance Group LLC. In her current role, she oversees a team of 18 insurance professionals that specialize in developing insurance solutions to protect the physical and financial assets of highly-successful people. Ann-Marie has honed the specialized set of insurance skills necessary to serve this group over the course of her 31 years in the industry, working through various positions. After starting her career at local Massachusetts insurance agency as after-school help, Ann-Marie worked her way up through various positions before becoming President of Anderson Insurance.

In 2008, Ann-Marie and the rest of her staff at Anderson Insurance joined Eastern Insurance by way of acquisition. 10 years later, her entire team remains with the agency, a true testament to all involved.

In honor of our #AdvancingWomen campaign this year, Ann-Marie shared advice for young women interested in joining the insurance industry. “Don’t be shy or afraid to step out of the confines of your job description. If you see something that needs attention, then step up and do it. You’ll get ahead if you speak up about what you want your career to look like and work hard to get there.”

Between her leadership role at Eastern Insurance and spending time with her two sons and husband, Ann-Marie is always on the go, but that doesn’t stop her from finding time to pursue her passions. Ann-Marie is a professional photographer and started her own business, Ann-Marie Rollo Photography, six years ago to offer photography services. She specializes in abstract, landscape, music photography, and portrait photography. She has had great success using her photography skills for the music industry, as she has had her work published on many promotional materials for both artists and vendors alike. She even had a full-page portrait of a Grammy Award-winning artist published in the Improper Bostonian!

As a resident of Scituate, Ann-Marie is known as a sunset, sunrise, moon, and storm chaser. Given her coastal location, her storm chasing can result in a particularly unique vantage point, making for stunning photographs. Her storm photos have been published in the Town of Scituate 2015 Annual Report and were also used by the Scituate Police Department in their successful budget request for disaster preparation and relief efforts.

Ann-Marie has also used her passion to do good. Recently, during a volunteer day with other members of the Eastern Insurance team, she volunteered to take professional quality photographs of animals available for adoption at the Scituate Animal Shelter.

On behalf of the entire Eastern Insurance team, we would like to thank Ann-Marie for all of the good she has done for our organization and our community.
