Peter has over fifteen years experience in the insurance industry. He started with the Specialized Lumber niche market in 1995 with Lumber Mutual Companies. The primary focus at Lumber Mutual Companies was Retail and Wholesale Building Materials and Wood Products Manufacturing. While there, Peter was selected for the prestigious President's Club two consecutive years ('98 and '99) for outstanding new business sales and renewal service.
In 2001, Peter and several former Lumber Mutual employees joined Eastern Insurance Group to form a specialized lumber division known as Lumber Insurance Management Services. Peter has been very successful in delivering the best insurance products and services to his Lumber Insurance clientele and has expanded his client base to include many businesses outside the lumber industry. Peter has the ability to service many different markets due to the extensive insurance carrier market availability at Eastern Insurance Group.
Peter and his family live in Oradell, New Jersey and are very active in their local community.
Real Estate Practice Leader
Peter is responsible for developing and growing Eastern’s real estate book of business and is our resource in establishing best practices and risk strategies for Eastern’s real estate clients.
Peter has extensive real estate experience in both residential and commercial real estate, including real estate development, gained through his 35 year career at Liberty Mutual as their real estate practice leader in their National Sales Department.
Peter is an honor graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, MA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in accounting.
A resident of Sherborn, MA, Peter is married with four children. Peter is the president of Sherborn Forest and Trail Association, a volunteer organization, to maintain Sherborn’s open space, the treasurer of the Dover Sherborn Gridiron club and is a member of the Dover Hunt Club.
Commercial Lines Marketing Manager
Mika joined the Marketing Department at Eastern Insurance in 2004. She began her insurance career in 1993 with a regional agency in Massachusetts and later moved to San Francisco. While working for Woodruff -Sawyer & Co. Mika was a member of the Risk Management team which is dedicated to serving the unique insurance needs of the technology industry.
Her primary role at Eastern Insurance is to oversee the marketing, negotiation and placement of new business for all lines of commercial insurance supporting all practices groups.
Mika is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She is a licensed Property & Casualty Agent and a Certified Insurance Counselor. Mika represents Eastern Insurance Group as a council member for Arbella and Guard insurance companies.
Tom began his insurance career in 1978 with the Hartford Insurance Group. In 1984 Tom took on a specialized role with Lumbermen’s Underwriting Alliance that launched the beginning of a long career where he has worked exclusively within the Lumber and Building Materials industry. In 1986 Tom found his home when he accepted a sales position with Lumber Mutual Insurance Company in the Massachusetts territory. For the ensuing 25 years he has developed long standing relationships with lumber industry clients throughout New England that still exist today. Following the successful transition of the Lumber Mutual client base and staff to a brokerage operation with Eastern Insurance in 2001, Tom has continued his commitment and specialization to his lumber clients in his present role as Senior Vice President at Eastern.
Tom graduated from Bates College in 1978 with an economics degree. He is a member of The Bates Key and remains closely involved with The Friends of Bates Athletics. Tom resides in Hingham, MA with his wife Ellie and their children Kerri and Sean. Tom has been active in the local community and has enjoyed coaching youth hockey and baseball. He and his family are active volunteers with the South Shore Friends of the Homeless.
Tim has more than 25 years experience in the insurance industry, starting his career in 1983 shortly after graduating from the University of Miami with a BBA in Finance. Tim joined Eastern Insurance in 1999 as a Senior Account Executive following a distinguished career with Liberty Mutual.
Responsible for administrating, servicing and developing relationships with new and existing clients, Tim provides risk management solutions to his customers. He is experienced in the creation and placement of major insurance programs that involve difficult exposures and complex coverage.
A licensed insurance broker, Tim has earned the industry designation of Associate Risk Manager. He is a resident of Wrentham, MA with his wife and three children where he is active in the community, including coaching several youth teams.
Steve has more than twenty five years of experience in the insurance industry. He graduated from Bryant College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduation, he went to work as a Business Sales Representative for Liberty Mutual where he earned a Top Producers Award. He then spent time at another agency as an account executive handling a variety of clients. His responsibilities included new business production as well as managing an existing client base.
In January 2001, Steve became an Assistant Vice President in the Construction Division at Eastern Insurance. He is responsible for servicing, maintaining and developing relationships with both our clients and carriers. Steve is currently enrolled in the Associates in Risk Management designation.
He has lived in Sherborn, MA for the past 10 years.
Bill began his career in 1973 with National Grange Mutual Insurance Company in Keene, New Hampshire. He worked in corporate planning and managed the operations department before moving into sales and marketing at NGM. In 1988, Bill accepted a position as account executive at Lumber Mutual Insurance where he began his work as a Lumber Industry Insurance Specialist. In his 13 years at Lumber Mutual, Bill served the building materials, wood products manufacturing and sawmill industries and also served as the New England director of sales.
In 2001, Bill and several other Lumber Mutual producers joined Eastern Insurance and formed a specialized lumber division known as Lumber Insurance Management Services. He continues to work out of the Keene, NH in Eastern Insurance’s northern-most office and has expanded his client list to include many large companies outside of the lumber industry.
Bill has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. He obtained his Certified Property Casualty designation (CPCU) in 1981 and Certified Insurance Counselor designation (CIC) in 1987. He has been a member of the New Hampshire Chapter, CPCU and is a past president. Bill and his wife, Lisa, are active in the Keene community where they have raised two children, Andrea and Jeffrey.
Pat began her insurance career in 1975 as a Claims Representative for Liberty Mutual in Pittsburgh PA. Liberty Mutual transferred her to Boston where she held Administrative and Training positions with responsibility for offices within the New England region.
In 1986 Pat joined CGT as Trust Administrator in Framingham MA which specialized in small group benefits. She functioned as Agency Services Manager and Senior Compliance Analyst.
In 1995 Pat returned to Liberty Mutual in the Sales Department, and was promoted to Sales Manager in 2000. She had responsibility for a sales and service staff of 35.
Pat joined Eastern Insurance Group as Account Executive in 2002, servicing a middle market portfolio of property and casualty insurance accounts. Her clients speak well of Pat’s service capabilities and dedication to meeting their needs.
Pat is active in civic and community affairs. She is a past member of the International Customer Service Association, Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals, American Society of Training and Development and holds a Charter Membership in the Society of Insurance Licensing Administrators.
Dave started his insurance career in 1989 as an assistant underwriter at Lumber Mutual Insurance Company. Within a couple years, Dave worked his way up to a senior underwriting position and was responsible for some of the largest territories and accounts within the company’s Lumber operation. In 1993, Dave was also responsible for most of the underwriting groundwork needed in order to form a Worker’s Comp Self Insured Group for lumber companies in New Hampshire.
In 1995, Dave moved into a sales position in central Massachusetts, and then moved to New Hampshire in 1996. He currently holds insurance licenses in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine. In 2001, Dave joined Eastern Insurance along with several former Lumber Mutual employees to form a specialized lumber division. Dave’s primary focus is working with companies within the lumber niche; however, he has been able to utilize Eastern’s vast resources to expand his customer base outside the lumber industry.
Dave graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature in 1988. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor Designation (CIC) in 2003. Dave has been active in coaching youth baseball for the past dozen years, and has served as president of his local Cal Ripken league. Dave currently lives with his two sons in Keene, NH.
Risk Management Division
Sharon began her insurance career in 1983 after receiving her B.S. degree in Communications from Boston University. She joined Carlin Insurance, the predecessor to Eastern Insurance in 1984, as an account manager in the Commercial Lines Department. She has worked exclusively servicing large commercial accounts since then.
Sharon is currently the Vice President and Manager of the Risk Management Division. She manages accounts in a diverse range of businesses including social service, manufacturing, real estate, and multi-location retail.
Sharon is a licensed insurance broker and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
Rebecca began her insurance career in September 2006 at Eastern Insurance as a Technical Assistant. Her responsibilities include processing certificates of insurance, registry transactions, maintaining auto fleets and assisting in servicing accounts in a diverse range of businesses including real estate, manufacturing, social service, and transportation.
Rebecca is certified to process in house registry transactions using the EVR Program.
Susan earned her law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1992. She began her insurance career in 1993 with The First Church of Christ, Scientist as their Risk Manager.
Among her responsibilities were the management of the property/casualty and health/welfare benefit insurance programs for this complex international organization.
Susan joined Eastern Insurance in 2000 as the account manager for several large commercial clients. Her legal background and extensive risk management experience enable her to provide clients with expertise in a wide variety of areas.
Susan is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. She also holds an Associates Degree in Risk Management, and has earned the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
Claire has been in the insurance industry for over thirty years. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Mathematics, she began her career with a major insurance company as a claims adjuster handling workers’ compensation and general liability losses.
Since that time she has been employed by independent insurance agencies in various capacities concentrating in commercial insurance. She joined Carlin Insurance in 1995 and has continued with Eastern Insurance in her current position as an Account Executive in the Risk Management Division.
Claire has earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.
Heather began her insurance career in 1990 working for a risk management consulting firm in Boston. In 1994 she received her Property & Casualty Brokers license and has since attained both CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
Before joining the Risk Management Division at Eastern Insurance Group as an account manager, Heather worked for a local insurance agency servicing a diverse group of commercial clientele. In her current position she continues to deliver a high standard of customer service to EIG’s clients.
Heather graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science. She resides in the historic town of Sudbury, Mass. with her husband and two children.
AEC Practice Leader
Since graduating from Bryant University with an MBA, Jeff has developed a diverse background holding prominent positions in industry including utilities, healthcare and economic development.
Previously, he held the position of Vice President, Business Development with Aon Risk Solutions in Providence, RI. where he was responsible for new client sales and business development. Jeff began his insurance career with the Soucy Agency of Woonsocket, RI.
Jeff primarily focuses on the real estate, retail and healthcare sectors. With a rich history of community participation, Jeff also has significant experience in the not for profit sector.
At Eastern, Jeff is responsible for developing new middle and large market business opportunities in the New England area.
Laura joined the Commercial Lines Department at Eastern Insurance in 2008 through an acquisition of Kittredge Insurance Agency. Laura began her insurance career at Allstate Insurance Company over 27 years ago and over the years has progressed thru many roles, specializing in both the Real Estate Management and Construction industries. Laura has an extensive understanding of the complex contractual issues and unique insurance needs related to these industries.
Laura attended Framingham State College and is a licensed Property & Casualty Agent. She has taken a range of insurance courses and is in the process of obtaining the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Laura and her family reside in Northborough, MA where she enjoys the outdoors and playing both indoor and outdoor adult soccer.
Ms. Rattigan has been in the insurance business for nearly ten years, with over 19 years experience in the Customer Service Industry. Amy began her career at MF&T (acquired by Eastern Insurance in 2008) as an Assistant Account Executive, with a primary focus on assisting the Marketing Department with new business.
She is currently working toward her Associates Degree in Business Administration at Massasoit Community College.
Ms. Robie began her insurance career in 1989 when she joined Eastern Insurance in the Surety Department. Prior to joining Eastern Insurance, she worked for a fortune-five-hundred manufacturing firm in the Accounting Department. Ms. Robie holds a degree in Accounting. She was the recipient of the Faneuil Business and Professional Club Scholarship and graduated with highest honors as well as received an academic program award. She has received the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding designation by the Insurance Institute of America and is a Massachusetts Licensed Insurance Broker.
Ms. Robie's primary responsibilities include account underwriting, marketing and client service. Ms. Robie is a member of the Massachusetts Surety Association, and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. She is also active in the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts and Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts
Frank began his insurance career in 1969 after graduating from Rider College with a Bachelor of Science degree in management and marketing. He has worked extensively in the surety area and has held various field and home office underwriting positions for two major surety companies. Prior to joining Carlin Insurance in 1987, he spent eight years as the branch bond manager for the CNA Insurance Company. During this period of time he simultaneously functioned as surety manager as well as CNA’s branch office services manager and also started, staffed, and managed CNA's Limited Partnership Bond Investor underwriting department.
He is a former president of both the New England Surety Association and the Massachusetts Surety Association and served on the board of directors of both organizations. He is an active member of many construction trade associations including, ABC, AGC and CFMA. He represents the Massachusetts Surety Association on the Massachusetts Construction Industry Council and serves on the board of directors of the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts and previously served on the board of directors for the Utility Contractors Association of New England.
Mr. Smith also serves on the Industry Professional Advisory Committee for the Construction Management Program for the Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has lectured at Wentworth, presented numerous seminars to construction trade associations and has published many surety-related articles. He is also a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.
Mr. Smith is active in civic and community affairs in his home town of Norwell, MA. . He is also a past president of the Norwell Church Hillers, a non-profit organization that raises money to fund local scholarship programs and supports and sponsors other community projects and organizations.
Nina’s insurance career started in 1994 with Eastern Casualty Insurance Company. She quickly advanced into her role as Senior Marketing and Sales Analyst. Nina became the Director of Operations in 2001 and remained in that position until 2009.
In 2010 Nina joined Eastern Insurance Group as their Client Resource Manager. Her role has been to manage Eastern’s new Client Resource Center, a customizable web site offered to clients and prospects with access to industry specific resources. Nina has been responsible for all aspects of this program from developing marketing and training material, initiating drip marketing campaigns, and conducting client training presentations with key decision makers.
Nina earned a BA in Marketing from Assumption College and lives in Hopedale with her family where they are very active in the community.
Paul has been in the insurance business for nearly 35 years, starting after graduating from Nichols College with a degree in business administration. He is a Certified Insurance Councilor who specializes in commercial insurance for both large and small corporations.
Currently, Paul is on the board of directors of both the Salem Community Corporation and the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce. He is a past president of the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce as well as the Westborough United Way. He is also a past board member of the Worcester Chamber of Commerce.
Paul has been a past member of the Million Dollar Round Club, and is a four time qualifier of Eastern’s President’s Club. He lives in Westborough with his wife, Jane, and their three children.
Ellen Young began her insurance career in 1991 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She has worked extensively in the surety area. Ellen joined Eastern Insurance Group LLC in 1996 and is now an Assistant Vice President in the agency. She is the former President of the Massachusetts Surety Association and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of this organization. She is a member of many construction trade associations including ABC, CFMA, ASM, AGC and the National Association of Women in Construction.

Roy began his insurance career in 1985 as a commercial claims adjuster with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Worcester, MA. There he held various technical claims and supervisory positions, focusing primarily on property and casualty lines of business. Roy joined Eastern Insurance in 2000 as claims manager. His primary goals focus on ensuring prompt and thorough carrier claims handling, followed by responsible and accurate claims file management.
Roy graduated from Nichols College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management with a minor in Psychology. Roy is a member of Arbitrations Forum, Inc., Boston Association of Claims Executives (B.A.C.E), and is a licensed Property Casualty Adjuster in most New England states.
Roy is married with two teenage sons. He is an active coach and volunteer in North Attleboro youth sports, the Colonial Figure Skating Club of Acton/Boxboro and First Baptist Church of North Attleboro.
Paul-Michael graduated from Babson College with a BA in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. Paul-Michael started his professional career in Finance, working at the Boston Stock Exchange. In 2006 he joined the sales team at Eastern Insurance Group and has played a significant role in developing Eastern’s Franchise Division.
Today Paul-Michael continues with his focus on Franchise Business, specializing in the Quick Service Restaurant Industry. His responsibilities include new business sales, risk analysis, program development and the management of the Franchise portfolio of clients throughout the country.
Responsible for EIG’s Select Division for both sales and service. George has been in the insurance industry for 34 years.
Ms. Molinari began here insurance career in 2002 as a customer service representative with Commerce Insurance Company in Webster, Massachusetts. Renee was promoted to the position of physical damage adjuster in 2002 and then casualty adjuster in 2004. After learning to handle physical damage, bodily injury and personal injury claims for both personal and commercial claims, Renee received the opportunity to move into a management role with Hanover Insurance Company in Worcester, MA in 2006.
Renee began at Eastern Insurance in September of 2007 as a claims service specialist for commercial lines.
Renee graduated from Nichols College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Management and again in 2005 with a Master’s of Business Administration. During her time at Nichols she was inducted into the National Honor Society based on her scholastic excellence and achievements. Renee is currently enrolled in the AIC designation program.
Jill began her insurance career in 1988 after receiving her B.S. degree in Business Administration from Bryant College. She joined Carlin Insurance, the predecessor to Eastern Insurance, in 1988 as an account manager in the Commercial Lines Department. She has worked servicing both small and large commercial accounts since that time.
Jill is currently an account manager in the Risk Management Division. She manages accounts in a diverse range of businesses including real estate, investment management, hospitality, and manufacturing.
Jill resides in Franklin, MA with her husband and three children.
Mr. Tibbetts began his insurance career in 1988 as a commercial subrogation specialist with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Worcester MA. In 1995 he accepted a workers compensation field adjuster position at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Westwood, MA where he investigated a wide variety of workman’s compensation related injury losses. In the late 1990’s he continued his career with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a senior litigation adjuster where he was accountable for the prompt and proper disposition of existing litigated subrogation claims.
In 1999, Christopher moved to the Hanover Insurance Company in Worcester, MA as a commercial auto claims adjuster, handling commercial claims for larger accounts such as Dunkin Donuts, UMass Memorial Health Care, and Paul Revere Transportation. There he independently investigated some of the most complex commercial losses. Christopher is a licensed claims adjuster for all New England states and is member of Arbitration Forums, Inc., with active participation from 1999 to 2006, resolving inter-company insurance claims. Christopher came to Eastern Insurance Group LLC in 2009, where he joined the commercial claims team as a senior commercial claims specialist.
Christopher is a 1988 graduate of Shrewsbury High School. He has taken a variety of insurance courses during his insurance career and is still actively pursuing various designations and licenses. Christopher’s interests include golf, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Christopher currently resides in Gardner, MA with his wife Melissa and two son’s Tristin and Kayden.
