Michelle Lord named vice president at Eastern Insurance
NATICK, Mass., September 25, 2008 - Michelle Lord has joined Eastern Insurance Group LLC as a vice president and sales executive, the agency announced today. In her new position, she will be specializing in the insurance needs of architectural, engineering, and environmental firms.
With nearly 20 years of experience in property and casualty brokerage services, Lord has worked with several large New England-based engineering firms. A graduate of Northeastern University, she is an active member of the Environmental Business Council (EBC) of New England. She also served as the past Director of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Women (MAIW), and is a member of the Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) and the Boston Society of Architects (BSA). She will be working out of Eastern Insurance's Natick office.
Lord is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and working toward her Associates in Risk Management (ARM) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. She currently resides in Framingham, Mass. with her husband, Chris, and their child.
