How does Eastern Insurance protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to those employees who need to know it in order to provide products and services to you. We train our employees on how to handle and protect that information.

Definitions

Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. Our affiliates include companies with the “Eastern” or “Eastern Bank” name under the common control of Eastern Bank Corporation.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Nonaffiliates we share with can include direct marketing and insurance companies.
Joint Marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
  • Our joint marketing partners include insurance companies and third party vendors to assist us in servicing and/or processing information relating to your insurance policies and claims.
